This is to inform the 2009-14 batch about a paid internship opportunity at RSG Media Systems. It designs innovative enterprise
applications for major media and entertainment industry clients and other
intellectual property owners. We provide software products and services that
enable our customers to more profitably manage the evolving media landscape.
Our clients include MTV Networks, Discovery Communications, Turner Broadcasting,
the NBA, Major League Baseball, NBC, Wall Street Journal, Lifetime Television,
Travel Channel, among many others. We are rapidly expanding and looking to

Internship duration: 3 months
Qualifications
§ Strong
command of the English language – written and verbal.
§ Bachelor’s
degree from a reputed Law institute.
§ Total
experience in the area of Contract drafting: 0-1 years
Responsibilities
§ Assist
with study phase of the implementations of RSG products
§ Assist
Rights Business Analysts in the process of collecting, interpreting, and
distilling customers’ business requirements into clear specifications and other
product development artifacts
§ Perform
Subject Matter Expert role in the area of Intellectual Property Rights
§ Translate
Contractual rights restrictions into binary data to be entered into the RSG
Rights product
§ Coordinate
internally with technical development team, designers, and architect, to
translate business requirements into product features and functions. Regularly
report status to Product or Project Managers
§ Create
clear and detailed process flows and user interface screens using Visio
§ Capture
meeting notes, and create project artifacts
§ Communicate
statuses for product development milestones to the internal business
development team
§ Interpret
product, market data, and client experiences into concise use case studies to
be used later by QA team for quality assurance testing
Key Requirements
§ Excellent
problem solving skills. Must be able to think creatively about issues to find a
resolution
§ Should
have displayed quick learning abilities in career
§ Must have
knowledge of Intellectual Property Rights domain
§ Ability
and confidence to work with all levels: senior management and staff
§ Should be
willing to travel
§ Knowledge
of the media, cable, and broadcasting space is desirable but not required
§ Experience
of working in onsite-offshore model is desirable but not required
§ Technical
writing skills and facility with Visio and PowerPoint are required
