This is to inform the students interested in the proposed trip to US in mid May, 2014:
1. A week long trip is planned to Ave Maria School of Law at Naples, Florida.The exact dates would be decided later.
2. The salient features of the visit are as under. Tentative cost USD 3,260 per student (about 2 Lakhs in Rs.)
Cost includes
3. Academic contents/lectures/round table/seminars on five days from 0900 hrs. to 1330 hrs. on following topics by expert speakers.
a) Comparative constitutional law
b) Constitution and constitutionalism
c) Courts and democracy
d) Power sharing and minority protection
e) Overview of US Courts and correction system
f) Introduction to distance learning (online) courses
4. Accommodation in Hawthorne Suites Hotel on twin sharing basis.
5. Breakfast, lunch and refreshments (all days)
6. Dinner on two days (one day at Sophia’s and the other day Banquet at Vineyards Country Club)
7. Education visits to Courts, country government offices, jail and law firms
8. Social/Recreational Part. Visits to :
a) Edison-Ford Estate
b) Collier County Museum
c) Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary
d) Downtown Disney
9. Free time after 1400 hrs. on three days
10. Local ground transportation
11. The students would be issued a certificate for having attended one credit course.

a) Airfare from or to India
b) Visa
c) Travel insurance
