Over the 17th and 18th of September, the Legal Entrepreneurship Clinic of ALS, Noida successfully organized a workshop, with the intention of helping Army veterans draft and register their wills. This workshop saw massive participation, with more than 30 people attending and getting their wills drafted. Amity Law School, Noida, is the only law school in the country to have organized such an event.
Close to 40 student volunteers took part, helping the event become a huge success. The student coordinatiors, Avinash Krishnan Ravi, Tushar Aggarwal, Prachi Trehan and Priyan Garg were responsible for the smooth execution of the workshop. The students would like to thank Ms. Monica Suri, the faculty Coordinator, and Major General Nilendra Kumar, the Director of ALS, Noida, for their unwavering support and encouragement of both the students and the workshop, and helping this event see high levels of participation.
Students of all years helped in the drafting of the wills:
After concluding the will drafting over Wednesday and Thursday, there will be another meet up at the sub-registrar's office in Noida, where the students will help get the wills registered. We hope the event continues to be a success, and congratulate everybody on their efforts.
