Report on Third All India Corporate Law Moot Court Competition 2012

A team comprising of Adhish Sharma (7th Semester), Pratik Sen (7th Semester) and Astha Pandey (3rd Semester), participated in the "Third All India Corporate Law Moot Court Competition 2012" held from 21st - 23rd September, 2012 at National Law University, Delhi. The competition comprised of 27 teams from all over India, with all the top national law schools participating.

The team's position was 7th at the National level and was appreciated by the judges and fellow participants for their research and presentation skills. It was a great learning experience for all of us.

With our experience and the reviews given by the judges, we would like to suggest the teams participating in different moot court competitions, to keep in mind the following points during their preparation:

  • Please be thorough with the facts of the case, your research and the compendium.
  • The rules of the competition should be thoroughly interpreted, specially the rules regarding the drafting of the memorials.
