1. Students are required to participate individually from any one side.
2. Each student shall be given 7 minutes for oral presentation.
3. NO MEMORIAL NEEDS TO BE SUBMITTED
4. Students must register with the moot court society at mcs.alsnoida@gmail.com atleast 2 days prior to the selection trials.

Intra Essay Writing Competition


The Literary Committee is organizing an Essay Writing Competition. The competition is open for 1st & 3rd Semester students. Topic of the essay is:

“GROWING MENACE OF TERRORISM IN INDIA

The essay topic is intended to elicit ideas from the students regarding the growing menace of terrorism in India and how it is being dealt with. It is an opportunity for you to share your ideas as to what changes you would like to see in this area.

It will be held on 20th October at 2 PM in Room No. 105. The time duration for the essay competition will be 1 hour.

The students are requested to submit their names either to Ms. Niru Sharan or to Shreya Mukerjee latest by the 18th of October.

Report on Chandigarh Judicial Academy National Moot Court Competiton


The team comprising of Gaurav Bishan, Isha Agarwal & Priyan Garg had the opportunity to participate in the Chandigarh Judicial Academy National Moot Court Competiton which was held from 1st & 2nd october, 2011 at Chandigarh Judicial Academy, Chandigarh. 



Around 40 Teams from all over India had participated including several National Law Schools like GNLU, NALSAR,Hyderabad besides other prominent law schools like Symbiosis Pune, Campus Law Center DU etc. 

The Preliminary rounds were held on 1st October, 2011 in which teams were required to participate from both the sides i.e. Appellant and Respondent. 

Out of the 40 teams participating, ALS-Noida stood 14th winning both the preliminary rounds & were above the prominent law colleges like NALSAR, Symbiosis Pune, Campus Law Center DU,etc. In the preliminary rounds ALSN beat the winning team BVP, Pune & & also BFLC, Faridkot 

Our team were praised by the Hon’ble Judges of the High Court & Advocates sitting on the bench.

Report on 1st UFYLC National Moot

The team comprising of Akber Ahmed, Shivangi Vaid and Neha had the opportunity to participate in the 1st UFYLC National Moot Court Competition which was held from 9th to 11th September, 2011 at Rajasthan University, Jaipur.

Around 26 Teams from all over India had participated including several National Law Schools like GNLU, NLU Bhopal,  besides other prominent law schools like ILS Pune, Symbiosis Pune, Campus Law Center DU etc.

The Preliminary rounds were held on 10th September, 2011 in which teams were required to participate from both the sides i.e. Appellant and Respondent.

Out of the total teams, four were selected to participate in the Semi - Finals which were held on 11th September, 2011. 

The Semi Finalists were: 
  • Amity Law School Noida
  • CLC DU
  • Symbiosis Pune
  • JNU

Our team was praised by Senior Criminal Advocate Shri S.R. Bajwa and Hon'ble Justice Tandon of the Rajasthan High Court.
