Entries should address a procedural or substantive issue in international investment arbitration.

Participation of Students in News X Channel's Public Debate Shoot of their program "Hitting the Right Pitch"

News X Channel is holding a panel based Public Debate shoot of their program "Hitting the Right Pitch" on February 17 2012 from 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM at F-2 Auditorium, Amity University, Sector 125.

Sports personalities like Javagal Srinath, Ayaz Memon, Aakash Chopra will be the discussants of the Panel followed by a Question & Answer session and interaction with students.

The shoot will begin at 11:30 AM, thus students should take their seats in F-2 Auditorium latest by 11:00 AM. No movement will be allowed during the recording of the show.

Max 30 students from ALS Noida are allowed to participate in the shoot as Guest audience.
The mentors will collect the names of volunteers.

This essay competition is organized by Indukaka Ipcowala Institute of Management (I2IM) to promote higher-order thinking and generation of creative ideas among the students pursuing their under-graduate and post-graduate programmes across the country, and to help them find a forum for expressing their ideas freely and without any inhibition or fear.

Spanning 14 Kilometres on the roads of central Kolkata,  the Amity half marathon will have 10,000 people running to raise money for underprivileged girls being educated by Amitasha.

Invitation for Papers - Two Day National Level Seminar on 'Role of Governance in Quality Assurance in HIEs'

Assuring quality in the governance of higher educational institutions (HIEs) in the country is of prime importance. Apex agencies like the UGC and the NAAC have been giving continuous emphasis on this issue for a considerable period of time. The HEIs have been advised to constitute Internal Quality Assurance Cell as a part of the programmes taken up in this regard.

In this context, The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), University of Calcutta and the Calcutta University Officer's Association (CUPA) in collaboration with the West Bengal University Officer's Association (WBUOA) and the All India Federation of University Officers' Association (AIFUOA) are organizing a two day National Level Seminar on 'Role of Governance in Quality Assurance in Higher Education Institutions' in the month of March 2012 at the University of Calcutta, Senate House, 87/1 College Street, Kolkata-700073.

A delegation of 18 German universities, research and funding institutions will tour across India and present their master and PhD Opportunities in New Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai in February 2012.
