Notice for New Courses

A few significant changes have been introduced that impact the students as indicated below. These come into effect with the forthcoming academic session starting in July, 2014.

Students would need to exercise option to select any two of the three courses below for the semesters concerned.

9^th Semester

a) Intellectual Property Law

b) Telecommunication Laws

c) Law, Poverty & Development

7^th Semester

a) Legislative Drafting

b) Women & Criminal Law

c) Interpretation of Statutes

In addition to the above, the students of Sixth semester and Above would need to select any one of the two baskets given below in which they would be taught the subjects semester-wise contained in that basket.

a) Business Law

b) Intellectual Property Law

The students can now change their foreign language, if they so want, and select any of the following each year. These are of one credit each per semester. Those who wish to continue with the same foreign languages may do so.

2. German     )        Five Year

3. Hindi         )

Next, the students would have to opt for one of the two open electives of one credit each.

b)   Cultural

1.Seminar on "Gender Equality" (Students participating will be preparing a power point presentation on the above mentioned topic and will present the same; Duration: 5-7 Mins.)

2.Photography Competition on "Respectful Co- existence" (Students participating will be submitting one/more photographs on the theme, preferably A4 size)

Certificate Course for Para Legals

Amity Law School, Noida has started a specially designed certificate course for para legals. 

The students qualified for this course are ex-servicemen, fully trained to handle all duties and responsibilities of Lawyer Clerks. 

The training includes documentation, filing, case management, diary, library organisation and client counselling etc. The candidates are all disciplined, dependable hardworking individuals. 

The course duration is three months, there is no fees, as the fees is paid by the Government of India.The courses are regularly being conducted and three such course have already concluded.

A.  Diploma Programme in Cyber Security, Audit and Compliance.  

Six months programme leading to award of diploma.  Class for two to three hours per day for five days week.  Total Fees Rs 30000/-

B. Certificate Course in Cyber Law & Information Security.          

Three months programme leading to award of diploma.  Class for one to two hours per day for five days week. Total Fees Rs 20000/-

The minimum qualification for both the programmes is 10+2 with minimum 50% marks.  Age no bar.

"INTERNET INTELLIGENCE" - A three-day course at Cambridge University on How to Use the Internet as an Effective Investigative Research Tool - 27th - 30th March 2011

In today’s fast moving world getting access to information quickly and cheaply has never been more important, for as the saying goes, “who knows wins”. In this context the Internet provides an unrivalled facility to collect information and carry out research, yet some of its most useful specialised and publicly available search tools are largely unknown.
