UTKARSH MEMORIAL MATCH 2012 was held in memory of our beloved Utkarsh Srivastva, the match was held between "ALS PAST" and "ALS PRESENT". Director Sir, Chayya Mam, Kanwal Mam, Faculty Members, Alumni Students, and Present Students gathered in large numbers to play and witness the game. From the family of Utkarsh, Vagmita Didi (Sister), Yash (Brother) and Ved (Brother) were also present. The opening over of the game was played by Vagmita Didi.

"ALS PRESENT" won the game by 9 Wickets, the PRIZES given away were were:

"BEST BATSMAN" - VIKRAM SINGH (ALS PAST) 36 Runs, Not Out (4's -7)

Intra Moot Court Competition for I year

An intra moot court competition is being organised on Wednesday 4th March, 2012  for the 1st year students. The competition will be held in 2 rounds, the qualifiers and the finals. No memorials are required. 5 Students from the qualifiers will go to the finals. 

Top 3 students in the finals will be rewarded by Director Sir.

A workshop for the same is scheduled on Friday, 30th March 2012 at 2:00 pm.

“ONE CLICK AWAY” - Photography competition

This competition is open to all Students of Amity University / other universities / institutions.

Theme: 1. Crime against women
             2. Childrens right

By submitting a photograph in this competition, the participant would be assumed to have certified that the work is his original work.

Maximum of 3 photograph per participant can be submitted for this competition.

Only basic Colour Correction & Cropping are allowed. There should be no additions/deletions of elements in the photograph.

Photographs have to be printed on either gloss or matte sheet. Size should be of 5” x 7” only.

Drishtikon - short film-making competition

Drishtikon is a short film-making competition, the ultimate platform that each artist deserves. Amaze your viewers with your perspective, aesthetic sense, emotion or simple ingenuity of idea. So ignite the director, cinematographer, the sound specialist, the editor or simply an art connoisseur inside you waiting to leap out.


The maximum duration for an entry is 5 minutes.
The maximum number of members in a team is 4. (Excluding the cast)
Each entry should bear a) an appropriate title b) the team name.

A disclaimer bearing the following text : ‚This is an entry for Drishtikon – Humav Value Quarter, 2012.“, the team name and title of the film must run for five seconds before the start of the video.

The video should contain the name of all the team members in the final credits along with contact number and email id of the team leader. The credits section and the disclaimer will not be counted in the 5 minutes allotted for the film.

All entries should be completely original and independently produced. Content and idea should be original. The participating teams themselves will be responsible for any third-party claim for copyright infringement.

Entries must reflect your direction and editing skills, and should comprise of cinematography and editing only.

Organizers solely reserve the right to screen the entry. Pornography, nudity and Excessive Violence are strictly prohibited and will lead to immediate disqualification.
