Gender Justice Cell organizes a Panel Discussion

Amity Center for Gender Justice & Child Rights organised a Panel Discussion on the topic "Frivolous Complaints" with regard to Gender issues, today. Prominent Speakers including Ms. Simar Suri, A Practicing Advocate at The Supreme Court Of India & Ms. Jyoti Tiwari, Research Analyst at Confidare Gender Studies Centre were invited for this initiative with the active participation from the 7th Semester & Ms. Mokshda Pertaub-Bhushan.

After the success of today's discussion the cell is back with another vision. A "Self Defence Workshop" with regard to protection of women & training them will be conducted on 21st August on the 3rd Floor open area from 2 PM onwards. Interested students are requested to to be dressed in track pants & running shoes for the routine.
We have to start today to make a difference tomorrow. Be a part of this change & spread the word to make this cause, also a grand success. Jai Hind.

Amity Quiz on Constitutional Law, 2014

A never before seen event is in town. Amity Law School, Noida is back with the 3rd edition of Amity Quiz on Constitutional Law on 26th August, 2014. This year the competition is planned exclusively for Amitians. We have already got a registration from 350+ students & on popular demand the registration dates have been extended till 8 P.M. tonight. This is the last opportunity to participate for an unmatched experience.

The top winners of the competition would be awarded the following prestigious titles with prizes:
- Nani Palkhivala Award as the First prize
- Homi Seervai Award as the Second prize
- B R Ambedkar Award as the Third prize
- H R Khanna Award as the Fourth prize
All participants would be given certificates for their efforts & the Top scorers from every batch (2010, 11, 12, 13, 14) both in the 5 year & 3 year programs individually would be given special prizes other than the prestigious titles.

ALS shines at Henry Dunant Moot, 2014


It is a matter of immense pride for Amity Law School, Noida that the team comprising of Kritika SharmaAastha Anu & Upmanyu Tewari have done exceptionally well in the 14th Henry Dunant Moot Court Competition National Rounds, 2014. The team stood 7th out of the 16 top National teams selected from all over India after the Zonal rounds for the final bout. The team missed the top 4 spots by a margin of 2 points, but their impeccable dedication and efforts has brought glory to the whole Amity Family. 


Congratulations to the team. We wish U bring more laurels to the college name in the years to come. Cheerioooooo!!!!!! 

The team is also requested to share their experiences to improve & work on the missing element for all future moots.

ALS shines in Tax Moot

We are glad to inform that a team comprising of Nirmit BhallaSiddhant Tripathi,Nikunj Rakyan represented the college in Justice Dr. BP Saraf National Tax Moot Court Competition, 2014 at NUJS, Kolkata & qualified till the Quarter- Finals of the competition. The moot comprised of teams from all over India, with all the top national law schools participating with Amity Law School, Noida finishing 5th. Heartiest congratulations to the team for their brilliant efforts & Good job MCS

ALS Faculties win Global Times Writers Award

We are glad to inform that Ms. Ruchi Neeraj Sharma & Ms. Mokshda Pertaub-Bhushan have been awarded for writing regularly for Amity University Global Times newspaper and making Amity Law School, Noida the most active school in writing for it.
The selection was made on the criteria of regularity of articles, encouraging students to write, professionalism, hard work & good writing skills. The entire ALS Family is proud of their efforts for making our department the most active in the University.

Safe Cyber Surfing Cell

Amity Law School, Noida takes the leap to create awareness about safe surfing, rising web based crimes & updating on the latest news about cyber space.
AIMS OF THE SCS CELL:
- To built ‘SAFE CYBER SURFING CELL’ for the netizens.

- To create awareness among the netizens on how to surf safe.

- To spread information about cyber crimes.
- How to deal with the cyber crimes.
- Laws related to cyber crimes and how are these used.

Gender Justice Cell

A 'Gender Justice Cell' is being established in the college to highlight the need for gender equality in the society. Dissertation Supervisors Meeting

9th Semester students have to meet their allotted dissertation supervisors every Wednesday between 2-5 PM giving them updates on their progress. Attendance will be marked weekly & presence is mandatory starting from this week (6th August).
